Our Second Medical Outreach

In January 2024, the Onome Omobolaji Obada Foundation embarked on its second medical outreach, making a significant impact on the health and well-being of communities in Warri and its environs. This transformative event, held at Central Hospital Warri, aimed to provide essential healthcare services to indigenes who lacked access to affordable medical care. Inclusive Approach
Recognizing the importance of inclusivity, we ensured that no one was left behind. Indigenes of the Agbarho community, despite their geographic distance, were provided with daily transportation to Central Hospital Warri, ensuring they could access the same level of care as their counterparts in the city.

The 2024 one-week medical outreach was a resounding success, with a grand total of 3,701 patients seen. Among the services provided were 2,089 medical consultations, 1,834 laboratory tests, 589 dental procedures, 391 dispensed eye glasses, 75 eye surgeries, 111 general surgeries, and much more.

“Healing without borders, caring without limitations. Our commitment cuts beyond boundaries and obstacles, reaching every corner of the world with infinite compassion and unshakable determination. Together, we work to heal not only bodies but also hearts, creating a society in which every person, regardless of circumstance, receives the care they deserve.”

These impressive numbers highlight the significant impact of our efforts in improving the health and well-being of individuals and families in the community.

The success of our second medical outreach reaffirms our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve. Moving forward, we remain dedicated to our mission of alleviating poverty and improving lives through compassionate healthcare interventions.

Together, we can create a healthier, more equitable future for all.
